Life on the Farm

When we initially wrote the article below for our cookbook, we showed it to some of our tailgating friends from Penn State.  One of them read the article while we were tailgating and said, "You have got to be kidding.  This isn't a true story, is it?"  We told him that it was true, and that life on the farm was always a challenge but very rewarding.  While it seemed like a lot of hard work at the time when we were growing up, we wouldn't change it for anything else.    We have lots and lots of memories -- great memories.  Enjoy reading it....
